What’s the process for getting started?

Give us a call at 1.800.782.4471 or email help@wlwp.ca!
Or, if you prefer, you can fill out our online form and we’ll reach out to set up an appointment with one of our advisors for a free consultation. Low pressure, we promise. We understand that choosing a new financial advisor is a big decision and we also know our industry has a reputation for being a little mercenary. That’s just not our style. We want to make sure every client relationship we enter into is one based on mutual respect, because that’s how we achieve the best results for our clients.
An initial appointment can be via telephone, online, or in person at one of our offices.
In this appointment we will begin to understand your financial goals and together we can discuss whether White LeBlanc Wealth Planners are a good fit for your needs.

Do you work with clients like me?

Although White LeBlanc Wealth Planners work with a variety of individuals, families and business owners, we are not a perfect fit for every type of investor.
In general we have two types of clients.
First, there are those who have started saving for the future, have the resources to invest and are committed to their financial goals. They could be at the beginning of their journey toward a financially secure future, or a few years into that process.
Most often we work with clients who are ready to take the next steps. These clients have built a portfolio, but have realized they need a deeper level of planning and support to achieve all they can. This includes many high net worth individuals whose incomes, investments and holdings are in the millions of dollars.
Sometimes we state this simply as, “If you have goals and the means  to attain them, or you have money and you have questions, we can help.”

What does discretionary management mean and how is it different from what I have today?

When we open a discretionary account we set a very specific risk profile. We then have the ability to make investment changes without needing to get approval from you first.
This allows us to manage your account far more effectively, reducing the burden on your time and allowing us to keep costs low. Fewer than 5% of advisors get to this level*, it is an indication of how hard we work for our clients.

Do you offer more than investment advice? Can you help with tax & estate planning, or insurance?

Our team offers a comprehensive suite of financial services including tax planning, estate planning, insurance*, financial planning for businesses and individuals, and of course wealth management.
Our clients have all of their financial needs serviced in house.

What qualifications should I look for in a financial advisor?

Our team is among the most highly credentialed teams in Canada. With more than two decades of assisting individuals, couples, families and business owners to achieve their financial goals, we also have the experience to back up the training.
In terms of certifications our team possesses the following: two CPAs, four CFP® designations, five members with a CIM®, three CFAs, and one CBV.
You can learn more about what each designation means, why they matter, and how we put our credentials to use for our clients in this video from Josh & Colin.
