Colin White

Colin White, CPA, CMA, CFP®, CIM®

Portfolio Manager, Insurance Advisor, HollisWealth Insurance Agency Ltd.

Colin is a partner of White Leblanc Wealth Planners, a Portfolio Manager with HollisWealth, is a division of Industrial Alliance Securities Inc and Insurance Advisor with HollisWealth Insurance Agency Ltd. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1992. As a Portfolio Manager Colin is part of less than five percent of advisors who are licensed to trade on a discretionary basis. The additional licenses to trade options and deal with life insurance is a rare skill set for a retail advisor. Colin is a graduate of St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce, major in accounting. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) (CPA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional. As part of his commitment to you, he makes it a priority to attend national conferences on topics of investments, insurance, and financial planning.

Colin’s years of experience gives him the knowledge and perspective to help people truly understand their circumstances and make informed decisions. The one thing do-it-yourselfers find difficult to do well is to achieve the perspective required to make sound decisions. He can offer the perspective to help you accomplish your financial goals

Dan LeBlanc

Daniel LeBlanc, CFP®, CIM®, Portfolio Manager

Portfolio Manager, Insurance Advisor, HollisWealth Insurance Agency Ltd.

Dan is a partner of White LeBlanc Wealth Planners, Portfolio Manager with HollisWealth, is a division of Industrial Alliance Securities Inc and Insurance Advisor with HollisWealth Insurance Agency Ltd. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1995, focusing on investment and financial planning since 2000. Dan graduated from Université Sainte-Anne with a Bachelor in Business Administration in 1994, obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional designation in 2002 and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation in 2015.

Dan’s independence, education and work experience, including six years at RBC Royal Bank and expertise in T1 tax preparation and planning makes him uniquely qualified in providing unbiased financial advice to individuals and families who are particularly concerned about saving for the future, minimizing taxation and protecting their family from critical financial events.

Tracy Hird

Financial Advisor

Tracy has been in the financial industry since 1997. She left a role in compliance to join the team in 2013. This provided her with the opportunity to focus on the part of the industry she loves the most – client relationships.  She believes that trust is the foundation of all great relationships and is committed to ensuring that each client interaction is an opportunity to continue building on that foundation.

Tracy brings her wealth of knowledge to our client’s everyday whether it’s by answering an email or researching a complex issue she strives to deliver an answer, accurately and promptly. Her dedication to the details ensures that all of our client’s information is up to date so we can provide better informed opinions to our clients.

Tracy loves a good book and watching her daughter play soccer year round.

Mitchell Whiteland

Mitchell Whiteland

Mitchell joined us in our Truro office in 2017, after leaving CIBC. Mitchell holds the FPSC Level 1™ Certificate in Financial Planning. Mitchell believes in taking a collaborative approach with clients to meet their financial goals. His knowledge of credit and investing allow him to build real plans that work for real people. He encourages clients to imagine and think past the typical milestones of retirement, or their child’s education to envision what they want their financial picture to look like. He believes that everyone should consider their finances with a purpose in mind.

Mitchell is a strong believer in improving financial literacy and offers his time in classrooms to help kids get a handle on money. As well as supporting community development through various social initiatives.

Ainsley Mackie

Associate Investment Advisor

Insurance Advisor, HollisWealth Insurance Agency Ltd.

Ainsley joined HollisWealth in 2011, bringing 6 years of experience in the financial services industry at a major bank and a boutique investment firm.  Ainsley focusses on identifying client needs and works with them to help build their wealth and ensure they achieve their financial goals. She strives to provide quality advice to clients in a way that is beneficial and friendly. Ainsley works out of our Nelson office, providing support to Dan and Colin. She also assists clients with their investment and insurance needs.

Born and raised in Nelson, Ainsley loves the Kootenay lifestyle. Ainsley is a Director at the Granite Pointe Golf Club and is a member of the Nelson Rotary Club.  She also volunteers with Meals on Wheels and at local charity golf tournaments. On sunny afternoons and weekends you can usually find Ainsley on the golf course with her partner, John, or working in her flower garden. She also makes time to spoil her three nieces.

Sadie Perlstrom

Sadie has been with HollisWealth since 2007, and our team since 2016. Having been in the financial services industry her whole career, Sadie provides our clients and our team with a tremendous wealth of knowledge.  Sadie is the first point of contact for our BC clients, booking appointments and answering client inquires promptly.  She also provides administrative support for Dan and Colin preparing paperwork and completing service requests.  Sadie prides herself with providing timely and friendly service.

Sadie was born and raised in Nelson B.C., and is active in the community by coaching Nelson Youth Soccer and fundraising for the Glacier Gymnastics Club.  Sadie is a loving mother to her two boys, Sawyer and Grayson.

Jordan Morrison

Assistant/Insurance Advisor, HollisWealth Insurance Agency Ltd.

Jordan Morrison has been a member of our team since 2011. He is the face of our Dartmouth office greeting our clients with his down-to- earth and welcoming personality. His area of expertise lies in providing Insurance advice for our Nova Scotia clients. He also wears many hats around the office. He handles the technological nuances of all our advisory services, and provides clients with tax reporting. Jordan works with our partners within HollisWealth to ensure client requests are handled promptly and accurately. Jordan’s love of the industry stems from an inherent desire to help people. He is driven to provide the best possible service and to simplify complex subjects to our clients.

Jordan is an avid soccer fan and plays year round on two different teams. He enjoys going on hikes in the woods and relaxing with a coffee and a good book

Jordan Morrison

Richard W. Fewell


Richards brings a wealth of experience to the team at White LeBlanc Wealth Planners. One of his primary roles is providing tax planning and preparation services to our clients. As an accountant who has worked with CRA Richard is in a great position to help our clients with tax related issues.

The other major benefit Richard brings is a CFA designation and 14 years’ experience running Canadian equities for a major money management firm. Richard sits on our Portfolio Management Committee and provides key insights to the running of our portfolios. With a wealth of experience in running businesses Richard is also key in helping Dan and Colin with the day to day running of the business and helping us guide future initiatives.
